Effective 7 August 2026

Privacy, in plain language.

PubHarbor is designed to open documents locally. We do not receive your publications, build an advertising profile, or require an account.

Short version: document contents stay on your device. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK.

Who is responsible

Eutopix Labs Prosta Spółka Akcyjna (P.S.A.), ul. Hoża 86/410, 00-682 Warszawa, Poland; KRS 0001237465; NIP 7011310736; REGON 544584646, is the controller for personal data described in this policy. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to privacy@eutopixlabs.io.

Data handled by the app

Documents and exports

When you select a Publisher file, PubHarbor reads and converts it on your device. The document, extracted text, images, previews, compatibility report, and exports are not sent to Eutopix Labs. Exports are written only to a location you choose.

Recent files and preferences

PubHarbor stores recent-file references, file metadata, free-preview accounting, and app preferences locally. On Apple platforms, recent files use security-scoped bookmarks so the app can reopen a file you selected. Clearing the recent-file library removes those references but never deletes the source document.

Purchases

Apple processes the PubHarbor Pro lifetime purchase. PubHarbor receives product, storefront, transaction, entitlement, and refund status needed to provide or revoke the purchase, but does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple may also provide Eutopix Labs with App Store financial and sales reports. This information is used to perform the purchase contract, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet accounting and legal obligations. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your App Store account settings.

What we do not collect

Support email

If you email support, we receive the address, message, and attachments you intentionally send. Do not attach a confidential publication unless support explicitly asks for it and you have the right to share it. We process correspondence to answer your request and perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving PubHarbor. Correspondence is normally deleted 24 months after the last exchange unless it is still needed for an unresolved request, a legal claim, or a legal obligation.

This website

This site uses no analytics, advertising pixels, third-party fonts, or non-essential tracking cookies. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process basic request metadata, such as IP address, browser information, time, and requested URL, to deliver and secure it. We use this processing for our legitimate interests in providing a reliable and secure website. We do not combine operational website logs with app activity.

Recipients and international transfers

Personal data may be processed on our behalf by Cloudflare, our contracted email provider, and professional advisers where necessary. Apple processes App Store purchases under its own terms and privacy notices. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we require an applicable safeguard such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Contact us for more information about the safeguard relevant to your data.

Legal bases and retention

Depending on the interaction, our legal bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests in support, security, fraud prevention, and operation of PubHarbor and this website. We do not rely on consent for ordinary on-device document processing because Eutopix Labs does not receive that content. Purchase and accounting records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. Provider security logs are retained only for operational and security needs under the applicable provider agreement.

Your choices and rights

You can remove recent-file references inside PubHarbor and delete exported files using the Files app or Finder. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and receive portable personal data. Contact privacy@eutopixlabs.io; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and normally respond within one month under GDPR. In the EU/EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority or Poland’s Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

The App Store privacy label describes collection through the application itself. Optional support email and ordinary visits to this website are separate interactions described above.

Children and changes

PubHarbor is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children. We may revise this policy when the app or legal requirements change; the effective date at the top will identify the current version.
